The EU’s online bookshop

A new on-line service from the European Union gives you
access to all EU publications. You can order a hard copy – but this will
often cost you money. Better than that, quicker and more environment-friendly,
you can download almost everything on your computer for free, and with a
choice of several languages of the European Union!
Let’s take an example: what about reading, for fun and
to better understand the EU, the great comic book "Troubled Waters", published
by the European Parliament? Just go to the EU Bookshop at
www.bookshop.eu.int,
make a search with "Troubled Waters" as keyword, download the book…and enjoy
your reading.
If you really like books for children, then try a few
other great titles: "What Scorching Weather!", "Climate Change, What is
it all about?", or "Let me tell you a secret about the environment". A cookbook?
Yes! Recipes from the 25 EU countries in English, French and German under
the French title "Recettes typiques". And of course, you can also download
plenty of other very informative, and also more serious, publications.
